Where did you grow up? Where do you live now?
I grew up all over the great state of Texas, but now I am living in Arvada, Colorado and loving it!
Did you go to University?
Yes. Texas Tech University. Fun Fact: Texas Tech University is the only campus in Texas that is home to a major university, law school and medical school.
How did you first become interested in technology?
I got my first computer in 1993 when hard drives were measured in MBs and RAM in KBs. Fell in love with what data can do from the very beginning.
Why do you love technology today?
It helps businesses be more efficient and less wasteful while allowing individuals (like me) countless hours of entertainment opportunities.
What’s your favorite thing to do off-hours:
I love the Colorado mountains and spend as much time there as I can hiking, skiing, climbing and fishing. When stuck at home, I enjoy gardening and woodworking.
Are you married and do you have kids or pets?
Yes, I am married, with 2 beautiful daughters, 1 dog, 2 cats, and a bearded dragon!
What’s the one thing you can’t live without?
My family. I’d say that I am independent to the extreme, but without them, I would be lost.
What are your primary duties here at AMT
As a support engineer, I focus on troubleshooting and solving all types of client issues.
What is your favorite aspect of your job?
I can’t believe I’m saying this as a proclaimed introvert, but I enjoy talking to clients. It gets me out of my shell and it’s a new experience for me.
