We asked Shane, a System Administrator, a few questions to get to know him and to better find out what he\u2019s all about.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Where Do You Live?<\/strong><br \/>\n\u201cI live in Harare, Zimbabwe, which is the capital and most populous city of Zimbabwe in Africa. I was born here and grew up in this beautiful, metropolitan area that is located in the north-eastern part of the country in the Mashonaland region.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Where Did You Attend School?<\/strong><br \/>\n\u201cI attended Species College, in Zimbabwe\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>What Turned You On To Tech?<\/strong><br \/>\n\u201cAs a kid, my Dad worked for a soap factory in Harare and I would visit him everyday after school and spent time in the technical department. This is where I first saw how an IPX network could link and share files and more importantly, I could play the game Doom. This exposure became an itch I could never seem to scratch. Today, more than 15 years later I still love going down the technology rabbit hole looking for answers.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Why Do You Enjoy Work?<\/strong><br \/>\n\u201cCurrently, I am doing what I love and every day does not feel like work but a way to improve my favorite hobby. Who could ask for more?\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>What\u2019s Your Favorite Aspect of Technology?<\/strong><br \/>\n\u201cI love the daily challenge technology brings.
